Toy boys: the new inter-generational relationships
A cougar is defined as a woman in her thirties, forties or fifties who is dating someone at least eight years younger than her. While these inter-generational relationships have always existed, they haven’t always been accepted by society and can sometimes be seen as bad taste. However, according to a recent survey, one in three women between the age of 40 and 69 are dating a younger man (ABC News). We have a look at possible reasons why some women date younger men. Afterall, men have been dating women young enough to be their daughters for years.
Possible reasons for the women
The first thing that a cougar may tell you is that is that if a man their age is allowed, or it’s accepted, to date a woman that could pass off as their daughter, then why shouldn’t they date younger men. And they have a point. If the single men from their age group are looking for much younger girlfriends, then it doesn’t leave many options for the older single women. The men that are available for older women to date are mostly younger than they are.
They may also tell you that younger men help to keep them feeling young. While this may make them sound like the fountain of youth, there is some truth to this, as a younger woman would no doubt make an older man feel a lot sprightlier! It’s a BIG confidence boost only adding to your self-esteem.
Younger men don’t come with emotional baggage, such as ex-wives and children. They have more energy and aren’t tired or spoiled from past relationships or marriages. They will be eager to give attention and try harder to maintain a relationship. Older women aren’t looking for their dream home with the garage and the manicured lawn - they are looking for companionship and entertainment.
And then there is a recent study printed in the scientific journal, ‘Demography,’ that showed that if women married someone older or younger than them by seven to nine years, in comparison to someone their own age (give or take a couple of years), they have a 20 per cent increase of death. If it is a choice between older and younger, and both are going to make you keel over quicker, then why not opt for the young stud!
Possible reasons for the guys
There are of course various reasons why younger guys date older women and one of them is that the women have been there and gotten the t-shirt. They are financially independent, have their own life and are comfortable in their own skin, which can’t necessarily be said for their younger counterparts. Cougars don’t have to look for the guy that is going to provide for them and take care of them.
Older women are more mature, established and won’t waste time playing mind games or mess with the guys' heads. They know what they want, are confident and happy enough to tell they guy exactly what that is. These women are upfront and therefore the guy knows where they stand - which, let’s be honest, must be refreshing.
Unlike men who reach their sexual peak in their teens and then remain at a steady level, women reachtheir sexual peakin their 30s and 40s. Research from the University of Texas, which featured in the journal ‘Personality and Individual Differences,’ says that “evolution has encouraged women to be more sexually active as their fertility begins to decline.” As it is a lot harder to get pregnant as we get older, women respond by seeking more and more sex." We aren’t implying that cougars are looking to get pregnant. We’re implying that the younger guy is going to be having lots of sex!
On the other hand, there are the guys out there that are like some of the women that date much older men, who sometimes get the nickname 'gold-diggers'. These guys may see an older woman as a meal ticket, a way to get money or holidays paid for. They provide a ‘service’ and the women thank them by showering them with gifts.

im working at www.marketprobe.com now as data entry. this job isnt that bad,but definitely not the best.
i still prefer the hot hot,noisy kitchen environment where u can walk ard to take stuffs to eat,cook stuffs,seeing ppl love your food. etc etc etc.
provided that business must be damn good,if not time will pass very very very duh sloww.
so yeah,will be working here temporary for the while.

life's been really good after stepping out of the kitchen..
started work today at market probe.

working in the dept incharged of incoming n outgoing airlines..
this job was 1st offered by my LQ sunbae!
but i gave it to nat at 1st as i had to work in the kitchen line for my scholarship bond..
so yah,now when LQ asked me again,i compared it with other jobs offered to me,and found it to be the better 1..
office hours,better pay,got pretty OL zeh zeh to see and chat with. why not? :D
1st day of work,which was today,was pretty much amazing.
was taught by jennifer on how to check some airlines shits to key into the system.
then did it independently already!

seems like i was only at work for an hour..but actually 9 hrs passed!

started working at emporium bar/restaurant on 29th oct.
was working 14hrs a day everyday for 1 week plus..
not the best place to work...*better not say out the reasons here as it might tarnish any reputation..*

now itching to find a job again.

and becus of that,i dont really have any reason to play wow now until the expansion is out in dec..
so was pretty much bowling everyday with kaki's.
did like at least 40-50 games for the past few days..
REALLY INSANE!
although a big hole in pocket now,but i really had much fun.
